Update August 4th:
The fate of the Frostbite Movie is being placed in the hands of the fans this Wednesday, August 6th. According to MTV.com.
"The producers behind the first film are this week launching an IndieGoGo campaign to raise money for “Frostbite: A Vampire Academy Film.” If fans contribute $1.5 million, the financial backers will be convinced that there’s enough fan demand for the movie and fund the rest of the production cost.
The campaign launches this Wednesday, August 6."

We have a Frostbite Movie update and it sounds like this film actually has a really good chance as being made. According to the Official Vampire Academy Movie Facebook page (henceforth to be referred to as OVAM), the majority of the funds necessary to produce the movie have already been raised. The remainder will be raised through a crowd funding campaign.
So it comes down to this: Will enough fans want the film enough to fund it? Do you want it enough to fund it?
OVAM says we can expect more details this week. See the official announcement below
